MicroStrategy, a company known for buying Bitcoin, bought 14,620 more BTC for $615.7 million on December 26, 2023. Their total Bitcoin now is 189,150 BTC, bought for about $5.9 billion. The company’s CEO, Michael Saylor is also a big supporter of Bitcoin, he believes it’s a very valuable asset.
Despite Bitcoin’s price changes, Saylor stated his confidence about Bitcoin’s future. He said, “Bitcoin is the world’s most valuable asset class and will keep rising in value.”
MicroStrategy’s new purchase shows a strong belief in Bitcoin and growing interest from big companies in cryptocurrency. They see Bitcoin as a protection against inflation and a lasting value.
